Brooklyn Creative League and AKArt are delighted to welcome Caroline Hill’s “Mad Hen Hosts the Game Series” to The Gallery@BCL.

What do you look at when you’re on the subway? Where do your eyes go and what do you hear? The Gallery@BCL’s new exhibit by Robert Saywitz explores a modern form of the human journey—the underground commute through New York City, people’s dependency on music to escape from this often harsh reality, and the resultant isolation. The works also investigate what happens when one cannot escape through music and is forced to engage. Please join us for the opening on …

The Gallery@BCL is pleased to present an encore exhibit by Michelle Han, a Brooklyn based artist and printmaker whose hand-pulled woodcut and linocut prints are among our favorite pieces. She works out of her home studio in Fort Greene, where she is inspired by the city, the country, and the slow and meditative process of relief printmaking. This exhibit includes new work that showcases her imaginative side, her love of Brooklyn, and old “wisdom sayings” reborn in contemporary style. Han’s …
