The dog days of August brought out the love for BCL from the local media. We were featured in:
- Hey Brooklyn, a great podcast produced by the winsome (and whip-smart!) blog The Amber Show.
- The Linewaiters Gazette. Published by the Park Slope Food Coop, the Gazette is a window onto the soul of this Park Slope institution–the good, the bad, the lovable, and the absurd. Adriana Velez wrote our feature, so be sure to check out her scrumptious food blog.

Brooklyn Creative League was featured in the July 13, 2009 edition of New York Daily News:
From a light-filled Gowanus loft that used to be a sweater factory, three-month-old Brooklyn Creative League offers options ranging from full-time desks ($425 per month), part-time desks ($225 per month) and a reserve-online feature that lets customers book space only when they need it.
Sarah Goltz Shelbaya, 35, a health consultant from Windsor Terrace, was so taken with the space she gave up a free office in SoHo to rent a cubicle.
“It was closer to home, and I felt comfortable immediately,” she said. “I also liked that there would be some connection with the people: You’re working in the same way, even if you’re not doing the same work.”
Bike racks and a changing room for working moms are planned. Free two-week trials are available.

Time Out NY
Brooklyn Creative League was featured in the April 9–15, 2009 issue of Time out New York:
“Erin Carney and Neil Carlson elected to launch the Brooklyn Creative League (540 President St between Third and Fourth Aves, Gowanus; 718-576-2104, brooklyncreativeleague.com) to counteract their own at-home-freelancer woes. The BCL, located on the top floor of an old sweater factory in Gowanus, officially opens Wednesday 15. Choose from a wide range of options—from a full-time private office at $1,500 a month to part-time work stations at $350 a month—for small-shop companies, writers, designers and nonprofits.”
